"I have had two other golden retrievers that I have raised and loved over the past 14 years and I have met many more through involvement in obedience and dog clubs . It may sound like just another proud parent, but Jack really is the best dog I have seen. He has a wonderful temperament. He is so sweet and full of love for everyone. He is great with kids and other animals. Jack is excited to learn and picks things up very quickly. He learns each lesson for puppy class so fast that the instructor doesn't have anything to do! And last but not least, he's a great looking dog. We are constantly stopped and told how handsome he is. Our family feels very lucky to have such a great dog. Chuck and Sue were great to work with while we anxiously awaited our new pup. They sent numerous pictures and encouraged puppy visits along the way. They have a great facility and show an obvious commitment to breeding the best dogs. We couldn't be happier!
THANK YOU FOR LETTING US KNOW HOW MUCH YOU ARE ENJOYING YOUR MVP PUPPY! GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE! WATCH FOR THIS PUPPY IN THE CONFORMATION RING!

Having been an obedience exhibitor for nearly 35 years and having some wonderful dogs pass through my home, I feel compelled to share my experience with Sue and Chuck Kohlhepp of MVP Kennels in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The purchase of my male Golden Retriever puppy was so wonderful. It is hard to know where to begin.
Let me start with the breeding stock. I can say it was of ideal bloodlines and included all health clearances. This produced the most wonderful puppies imaginable. I also must include the outstanding and conscientious care that that they received from the Kohlhepps during their first seven weeks of their lives.
Playtime and socializing was done to perfection, and my puppy adjusted extraordinarily well when he came home. Included in the care that they received, was that they lived in such a clean and healthy environment.
I can most assuredly say I have never had a purchase of a puppy ever be more pleasant, or come from a kennel with such high standards.

Violets are blue,
Our MVPGolden's
Too good to be true.
Brooke's smart and she's pretty,
She's furry and fun.
Not afraid of the water,
Or sound of a gun.
She fetches her bumper
And thinks its a stunt.
We think by next fall
She'll be ready to hunt.
Brooke loves everybody
She happens to meet.
Human, canine or feline,
(With two or four feet!
She's going to school now, Doesn't mind it one bit.
She's doing just great
on Come! Heel! Down! and sit!
So, if you are thinking
A Golden's for you,
Don't look any further......
Please, just talk to Sue!!!!!
Thank you Sue, for letting me be there from the beginning and for continuing to be an unending source of information, education and encouragement. Rick and I could not be happier with our Brooke! We LOVE her!

MVP' Starlette Marley, formerly known as Ms. Green
A year ago today, our family brought home a beautiful, loving, cuddly, quiet and shy young puppy. Today Marley is still beautiful, loving and cuddly, but certainly not quiet and shy. She has grown incredibly strong and athletic, and loves to jump, run, chase birds and squirrels and jump into any body of water no matter how filthy. Since she turned our house into an agility course at three months, we decided to channel her energy into agility classes, and she is clearly the young "Star" of our club, and we expect her do quite well when she is old enough to complete.
We want to thank Sue and Chuck for sending this fabulous puppy into our lives. From the morning that my phone rang with tiny yelps from our newborn pup, to the weekend that Chuck and Sue welcomed us into their home like long lost friends as we visited our puppy to be, until a year ago today when Sue let us bring home her special little Ms. Green, the experience has been wonderful. The only problem is living up to the tremendous level of care that Sue gave to every one of her puppies. We will try hard.
Thank you again, Chuck and Sue, for a great puppy and a great experience.
Jim, Karen, Paul and Marley

Wanted to send along news of our boy, Drake, now that he's turned 6 months along with a couple of pictures. On his 6 month birthday he weighted 53 pounds and is 21 1/4 inches tall. His head width at this time is equal to Dusty's. Drake is still very well balanced conformation wise.
Most importantly, He does everything that's been asked of him in obedience: heeling, fronts, swing finishes, sits and downs (all done on leash) as well as recalls on a flexi. Drake also does a fabulous drop both ways, verbal as well as hand signal. He is everything a trainer would hope to get in a puppy. He continues to impress us and makes us very anxious for himto grow up and get in the ring . We also get frequent compliments from other people on his great looks and beautiful heeling.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE UPDATE! MVP GOLDEN'S WOULD LOVE TO TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS GREAT PUPPY, BUT HE IS IN THE HANDS OF A GREAT TRAINER AND COMPETITOR! ANY BREEDER WOULD BE THRILLED TO HAVE MIKE AND MICKEY HAVE ONE OF THEIR PUPPIES! CONTINUED SUCCESS WITH DRAKE AND DUSTY!
