The puppies are really getting around now and getting their own little personalities! They like to come when they hear me and are starting to play with each other-in slow motion! Every day gets more interesting and it is amazing how fast they develope!

The pups are growing like crazy! They are starting to eat a little cereal and climbing out of the whelping box!
Whelping time is quite the experience! It is exciting, rewarding and extremely stressful! There is always the concern for Mom and the babies! I am very lucky to work with Carissa at Northside Pet Hospital. She is a Vet Tech there, but is known around town as the "puppy midwife"! Carissa cut her vacation time to come back and help with this litter! There is no doubt we would have lost a puppy without her! Gail had decided that she wanted a female from this litter and wanted to be in on the delivery! She stuck in there until 4:00 A.M and was a real trooper! She got even more than she bargained for! While visiting her puppy on the following Tuesday,Robin decided it was HER turn! Believe me, she didn't waste any time! Four puppies in an hour! Gail was able to put her lesson to use in a hurry! Again, we had to get Carissa off the lake! It was a team effort with a nice healthy litter! Chuck pitches in to keep us in Pizza and beverages! Lisa, thanks for being here! We couldn't have done it without all of you!
Star and Trumans puppies are now nine days old! They are very fat content babies! They get more active and noisey every day! Taking pictures is quite the challenge! We are looking forward to meeting everyone and are happy to answer any questions and chat with all the new owners! I know it must be very difficult to be to far away to come and visit them often! I will keep everyone updated with pictures!

We are proud to announce Robin X Ticket's new litter of puppies! Robin is a great first time Mom and is enjoying all the extra attention too! We have 4 males and 3 females. Watch for updated pictures weekly. Congratulations to everyone that will bring one of these wonderful puppies into their lives in about seven weeks! It has been such a great experience to meet the new puppy owners! It is so rewarding to know that the puppy we have raised will have loving homes. Special thanks to all who have traveled from Duluth, Naperville, Cedar Rapids and of course the Yules and Legge's from Eau Claire! Now.........Which one will they choose??

Temperment testing, conformation and interest in birds are all part of the responsiblities of raising and placing puppies in the right home. Of course at this age they change every day, but we can at least get an idea in the individual puppies. At MVP, we are commited to go the extra mile and time to assure new families that they are getting a well rounded puppy!

Again it was fun having a family to meet their new puppy. Thanks to the Wolf family for making the trip! Another great home-lucky puppy, sounds like pheasant and goose hunting are just around the corner! UPDATE! 1-11-08 JUST GOT AN EMAIL SAYING THAT BELLE IS A VERY PRETTY GIRL AND HAS BEEN GOOSE HUNTING WITH HARRY!!!!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!! HOW FAST TIME GOES. SOUNDS LIKE BELLE IS MAKING MANY MEMORIES IN THE DUCK BLIND AND IS GREAT WITH THE KIDS. ANOTHER WONDERFUL HOME- THANK YOU!!!!
